Academic Coordinator - Deena Harvey

The Academic Career Center integrates support for math, reading, and communication skills with individual student program areas. Students also learn employability skills and explore career possibilities. The Academic Career Center also provides computer-based WorkKey Assessment. These scores are provided to the Oklahoma Department of Commerce for the issuance of a Career Readiness Certificate.

ACT Study Guide

The American College Test is required of all students before they enter college. The Academic Center has a computerized tutorial that will help prepare student to take this test.

Career Search

This program allows student to research a career on and individual basis. The students can choose wide variety of careers and explore them thought computer enhanced-information.

Entrance Screening

The adult medical courses at GCTC require a pre-entrance screening test to reveal basic skills necessary for enrollment in the medical programs.
