Course Information
The Carpentry Program at
Green Country is designed to teach many different occupations within
the carpentry career cluster. The first and most important is safety.
The students will then proceed to site layout, forming, concrete, framing,
roofing, exterior finish, insulation, drywall and interior finish which
consists of cabinet, trim and some floor finishes.
The main teaching project
each year is a house, custom built, for selected clients in the community.

Schedule
8:00 a.m. to 10:55 a.m.
12:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Salary Range
Starting pay is $7 to $12 per hour,
with 5 years experience carpenters can make as much as $60,000 a year
