Digital Media/Multimedia
Instructor - Julie Roberds
The Digital Media/Multimedia Program offers instruction in the fields of graphic design, desktop publishing, digital photography, film production, video production and office technologies.
The Career Major for this program is MULTIMEDIA SPECIALIST.
This major prepares students to create and edit graphics for video, print and web publishing. Students learn desktop publishing and graphic design techniques along with digital photography skills. Students design and edit motion graphics and visual effects and use digital video equipment and software to generate projects to DVD formats for a wide degree of playback compatibility. Students gain skills required for Adobe and/or Apple industry certifications. Courses covered in this major are listed below:

The Digital Media/Multimedia Program utilizes a sate-of-the-art Mac lab. We have 27” Cinema Display iMacs, installed with the following software:
- Adobe CS5 Design Premium which includes Photoshop CS5 Extended, llustrator CS5, InDesign CS5, Dreamweaver CS5, Flash CS5, Bridge CS5, Media Encoder CS5, Device Central CS5
- Adobe Acrobat
- Apple iWord ‘09 which includes Keynote, Numbers, Pages
- Apple iLive Suite 09 which includes iPhoto, iMovie, iChat, iTunes, iDVD
- Apple Final Cut Pro
- Apple Studio Pro
- Apple Soundtrack Pro
- Apple Compressor
- Apple Aperture
- Apple Motion
- Apple DVD Studio Pro
- AutoFX Suite of Softwares which includes Mystical Tints & Tones, DreamSuite, Auto Eye, and Photographic Edges
- Microsoft Office:Mac 2008 which includes Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Entourage, and Document Connection
