Each year BIT students participate in various Community Service Projects. These events include:
One annual event is the "Bears for Babies" campaign. Lisa and Greg Geyer coordinate this drive each year and its purpose is to provide stuffed animals for hospitalized children in the Pediatric Unit at St. John's Hospital during the Christmas Season. This drive is in memory of their sons Grant and Garet who died of the very rare "Gauchers Disease". Students collect stuffed animals, create and attach tags, and help deliver the stuffed animals to the sick children at the hospital during the Christmas break.
