Health Careers Program

The goal of Heath Careers is to have a healthy future by gaining skills to care for others in the fastest growing career field. HCC students will learn to become nursing assistants who provide auxiliary services in the care and emotional support of long term care residents and home health clients. Second year student's training includes experience in physical therapy, dental assisting, veterinary assisting and medical assisting.

High school students attend Green Counrtry three hours each day. During the remaining portion of the day, students are scheduled at their home high schools. High school students attend tuition free and receive three to four credits toward high school gradutaion upon successful completion of a program each year.
