Student of the Month
|
Each month two high school students (morning and afternoon) are chosen as Students of the Month. These students are nominated by their instructor and then elected by the GCTC faculty and staff.
The criteria for Student of the Month are to have good attendance, have a good work ethic, a good attitude, and be in good academic standing. Students who are chosen for Student of the Month are eligible to be nominated for GCTC Student of the Year.

| GCTC’s morning Student of the Month is Daniel Wilson, a junior at Henryetta High School. 3-D Animation Instructor Delina Bible nominated Daniel because he is very creative and easily adapts to different types of software. His career goals include going into the animation/film industry or the computer gaming industry. |
GCTC’s afternoon student of the month is Osvaldo Covarrubias, a senior attending Beggs High School. 3-D Animation Instructor Delina Bible nominated Osvaldo because he’s very kind, creative, and has a lot of talent. Osvald plans to attend OSU-Okmulgee in the Visual Communications program. |

Pre-Nursing Instructor Tiffany Berryhill nominated Tabitha because she is an “A” student and has no absences for the year. She always does her work and has been very helpful with H.O.S.A. and community services this year | GCTC's afternoon Student of the Month is Anna Sullivan, a senior from Beggs High School. Pre-Nursing Instructor Tiffany Berryhill nominated Anna because she is very outgoing. She’s a great student who completes her work and is a leader in the classroom. |
