The National Archives
The National Archives has the duty and honor of protecting and maintaining documents such as the Constitution and Declaration of Independence.
However, after it was established in 1934, it also became home to all kinds of government files and military service records.
The Archives are a great place to enjoy our Nation's history. When you visit, you can do everything from seeing the Declaration to finding a
relative's military service record.
