
The National Gallery of Art is the national art museum and is located on the National Mall in Washington D.C.
The museum was established in 1937 for the citizens of the United States. It is open to the public daily free of charge.
Annually, 4.9 million visit the Gallery. The gallery is home to an amazing collection of photos, prints, paintings, medals, and drawings dating from
the Middle Ages to today. Two of the most famous pieces of art housed here is the only painting by Leonardo da Vinci in the Americas and the largest
mobile ever made by Alexander Calder.
