The United States Holocaust Memorial Museum

The United States Holocaust Memorial Museum was dedicated on April 22, 1993. It is the country's official memorial to the Holocaust.
The Museum sits close to the National Mall. The operating budget is just under $78.7 million.
Since 1993, 30 million people have visited. Eighty-eight heads of state and over 3,500 officials from over 132 countris have also visited.
The museum's collection includes over 12,750 artifacts, 80,000 photographs, 49 million pages of documents and records of
200,000 survivors.
